Kachi lassi ( Milk Flavored Water)

Summer season is best season to enjoy cool drinks.
Kachi Lassi is refreshing drink in summer with few ingredients which
helps acidity to subside and leaves your belly cool. It also helps prevent heat stroke.
In North India we drink kachi lassi after eating lots of Mangoes.

Ingredients:
500 ml wter
100 ml milk (skimmed or full cream)
2 table spoon Rose water (Rose water not rose essence)
*Please note avoid using rose essence.
If you don't have rose water (Gulab Jal) use only few drops of rose essence.
1 tea spoon Sabja seeds or Basil seeds.( some called it Tukmaria seeds, falooda seeds) optional
3 table spoon sugar.
Method:
Dissolve sugar in water.
Add Milk
Soak Sabja seeds in little water for a couple of minutes.
Add seeds, rose water and mix.
Add some ice cubes or chill in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Garnish with rose petals and serve.
Please note: Use only organic rose petals or pesticide free roses from you garden.
You
can also use Rose syrup or Rooh Afza to make kachi lassi but I prefers
natural non preservative drinks. Rooh Afza and Rose syrup sometimes
induce acidity. So it is better to use simple natural ingredients.
Try both versions and I bet you will like kachi lassi without Rooh Afza.
