Garden Dip

I have a small terrace garden on my 4th floor flat. Where I have planted some herbs : mint, sage, rosemary, tarragon, cilantro, oregano etc.

There herbs are not only good for your health it gives fresh flavor and taste to the food.
This is my own created recipe which goes very well with steamed or fresh vegetables, Grilled, fried or boiled chicken, fish and meat,
or simply with chips, wedges and nachos.

you can spread/serve with burger, sandwiches or crackers

Try to add fresh herbs which are very easy to grow in the planters or you can use dry herbs. Any ways it tastes great.

4-5 table spoons milk
1 table spoon finely chopped parsley
1 tea spoons finely chopped green onions
1 tea spoon finely chopped shallots

1 tea spoon finely chopped tarragon or sage

or you can use 1 or more table spoon of dry spice mix or oregano

salt and pepper as per your taste (though not much requires as mayonniase and cheese is already having salt in it

few drops of fresh lime juice
pinch of sugar (optional)

Method:

Mix cream cheese with warm milk till smooth. let it cold.
Mix all the other ingredients except salt and pepper.
check the consistency and taste the seasoning as cream cheese and mayonaise is having salt in it.
If required add salt and pepper.
If dip is thick add some more milk. if it is thin add some cream cheese or mayonnaise.

for variations you can add chilli flakes.
chill in fridge and serve as require.
This you can keep in fridge in 2-3 days.
