Mini Apple Pie


Apple Pie

Ingredients:
 2 cups flour 2/3 cup butter (chilled) 1 teaspoon salt 4 tablespoons water 

Filling:
3 medium apples (peeled and chopped up into small pieces) 
tablespoon  sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon 6 tablespoons flour 2 tablespoons butter (chilled)


Directions:  Preheat oven to 425 degrees. 
Grease two six inches pie dishes.
  • Mix Flour, butter salt. Rub with fingertips till mix and blend completely, Now add chilled water 1 tbsp at a time and combine with flour until well blended. 
  • Don't knead into dough. just combine it.
  • Divide into four parts.
  •  Roll out each on lightly floured surface until about 1/4 inch thick. 
  • Take two  6'" pie dishes. Press each circle in  tins until all the way up each side, to form little bowls. 
  • Mix all filling ingredients except butter and spoon into muffin bowls.
  • Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes. (Until crust is light brown and apples are bubbling). You can also bake these pies into muffin bowls.
